Your screenshot isn't loading for me, but I have a guess as to what's going wrong. The game has switched into full-screen mode -- the menu and Dock are hidden and the game window takes over the whole screen -- but there's a title bar showing?
If that's the problem, then you need to start the game in full-screen mode. If you've configured your video settings for full-screen and then quit TF2, then it should just start in full-screen mode. You can also pass -fullscreen as a launch option to the game by editing the game's properties in the Steam GUI.
The problem is that Mac OS X doesn't allow a window to change between having a title bar and not.
From a Linux Ubuntu 8.10 point of view....
I found that in CXGames 7.1. if I ran the game in full screen mode at the same resolution as my desktop (1680x1050), I used to get my gnome panels coming up on top of the TF2 window. All other resolutions are fine.
In CXGames 7.2 I have the opposite problem. If I run the game on anything other than my desktop resolution 1680x1050, the gnome panels come up ontop of the game window.
I do have a sneaky feeling that my applets in the gnome panel may cause this. I've got a system monitoring applet running, which I think tries to grab focus.
