That Tag & Rename does load under CrossOver Pro but the File List window cannot refresh and it opens with an 'Initialization error' message box. You can't use that product currently. *NIX alternatives -

i have install TagRename 3.4 (version2008)
and did not have instal problems
only be carful to instal in the right mac-aplication directory (standart it will do in on a typical windows 'C' directory.
but for the rest TagRename 3.4 (2008) do i use very well (for 95% everything is just fine)
(only a minor tool didn't work)
i use and have tested just the things i used the most , and i am already very happy that it work on mac

Seems to install without problems. I can not connect to the internet, Amazon or Freedb to get any album art / album info etc. Not sure if there is anything else I can configure or not.
I had a similar problem with Tag&Rename. I wasn't able to connect to the internet, Amazon or Freedb to get any album info. But my friend recommended me mp3Tag Pro. And that's what now I can recommend you. It's a tag processor with powerful features and intuitive interface.
