This error pops up every time I try to install the game. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

The game is currently not working on any Macintosh (not sure about Linux), due to the massive changes in the launcher. That's why it is currently listed as "Installs, will not run." on the SW-TOR page.
Be also aware that the game, once CrossOver (Wine) is fixed, will work kinda satisfactorily only on an Intel Macintosh, sadly not on Apple's M1 or M2 chip.
Edit: I forgot, that the Steam version of SW-TOR still seems to work, as it is still using the old launcher.

What is your current OS?
Have you managed to install SWTOR yet?
Workaround at the moment it seems is to run via Steam. Launcher on steam hasn't had the same updates the regular version has, for whatever reason. It runs perfectly under Steam.
