I, almost as certainly as everyone who has read this post will hate those 3 numbers, which are more associable with the devil than 666. No human being should ever endure such horrors.
Another means of combating error 208 aside from changing 'bitraider_disable' to true from false in 'launcher.settings' or ticking the box to bypass proxy in IE, is to go into the Star Wars the Old Republic folder in your c_drive. When you open the launcher, a file called 'patch' is created. If error 208 plagues you, delete the file. When ever I get 208, I delete that file and the problem is solved.
