Dear guys, do watch my tutorial here on how to install the game. It works perfectly fine. No problems for me at all.

Just remember, run SWTOR_fix.exe and launcher.exe from Configure>Manage bottles> Open C: drive.

If you open from applications or the shortcuts in launchpad, it will screw your entire game up!

i get an error "unable to retrieve patch data. please check network connection. (208)" followed you video correctly and i still get this error, any ideas?

I got it to run (not perfectly) after some tinkering. There are two things that I did to resolve the patch initialization issue.

I went there and downloaded the file and installed it via crossover into the SWTOR bottle.

I went there and followed the directions to edit the launcher profile (DOING THIS WILL MAKE YOUR LAUNCHER RE-DOWNLOAD THE WHOLE GAME)

And it launches just fine after all that... however... now that I'm in the game all the character models, meshes and textures are completely haywire.

I don't really know how to explain in words, so here are screenshots:

Any help on the graphics front would be amazing! Once this gets sorted out (if possible) It should be working just fine. Seems to run smooth enough.

Thanks for the reply dude, I'll try that stuff out. As for your graphics glitches, did you try just changing various graphics settings both in the game itslef and crossover settings? Also I've noticed that minimizing and restoring the window that a game is running in wine can alter the graphics, sometimes for the better.... Also maybe switch to the x11 window mode (in the manage bottles window) that can sometimes affect graphics. You might've tried this stuff already but thought i'd offer help in return.

first it hangs saying "initializing" then after a minute or so it says the application encountered an unspecified error
