For the top requested/voted app, not seen a whole lot of movement on
this ;) Anyone heard anything? Particularly with the new SWTOR
patch that came out? Running Mac OS X 10.7, got the game to install
(well, started the installer, copied the files over from bootcamp).
I get SWTOR to start (I logged in and got past the launcher), then
it freezes - the bottom right circular ball thing that normally
shows that the game is loading just stops. Tried tweaking various
settings on SWTOR in their .ini files with no luck.

U need to remove some files here, cant remember wich ones. then you will get passed the loading lockup after you hit play.
tried to find the page where it says wich ones, but couldnt, i know it was some of the vc90 files.
once you get passed that tho, you will have an endless spinning loading icon thingy. to get passed that you need a special patch, theres one for wine somewhere, but there is also a special download from here that is basically a standalone crossover patched for swtor, that will work aswell.
I cant remember if i was able to load my character and get into game, ill give it another try today, but you should get to character selection and server selection atleast. That much i remember.
edit: sry really tried to find it again just for testing myself. sigh could of sweared it was at winehq database.
