I just attempted to run it for the beta and found the launcher/installer app works fine but fails on the install of the game files. in the logs i got the following.

Manually making the dir allows it to continue. it will be a few hours before i know if the game loads.

Hey OP, did you end up making the game actually work or at least load? Curious to know if I should play around with this and try to make it work, if it at least actually installs.

Would love to know if you got anywhere with this. Attempting to run Star Citizen myself with no luck
