Help with Rumble Fighter

OK so I looked in the forums for advice for Rumble Fighter online, BUT there weren't any. so Im posting this.
I have crossover game ver. 10, using a Mac OS X 10.6
the installation and download of the game goes smoothly, but when I try to start the game, without warning it quits. And it quits in a weird way, like if you never started it in the first place. No pop up window, no error message, nothing.

so what is wrong with this?
