Rift install stalls (New Crossover user) "Checking Local Files" (Solved)

Hello,

I actually got Rift to install with wine on FreeBSD but moved to Ubuntu because of the video card support. Now when trying to install it says checking local files, and says it will take two hours. I let it run all night last night and eventually it came up with an error saying it couldn't find the patcher or something like that. I am clicking on the right installer file, and I don't have it in a protected directory.

I actually did get it to start downloading the game one time (I have a digital download.) It got about halfway done and I tried to move the window and the window disappeared. I couldn't find the window anywhere. This happens when moving the rift window to the side and it will disappear even if you don't let go of the window. I know because I did it twice just to reproduce the problem. I can deal with the window problem. I can't deal with it checking files for two hours and then saying it can't install. I would just download the patcher again but like I said I have got it to start downloading the game (and pretty fast to) I just want to know if anyone has encountered this, and how they fixed it.

Steps Taken:

Deleted the bottle.
Left the bottle and tried to install a new one.
Deleted all bottles and rebooted machine.
Tried launching the install programs option through different ways ie..Install windows programs and through the bottle window when no bottles are present.

Things not tried:
Looking for any left over Rift related files that may be present even after I delete the bottle. I figured there wouldn't be any but I also though it was possible that system stuff (C++ Libraries and Directx stuff would be put somewhere other than the bottle.

Any help would be appreciated.

Brian

EDIT: After the checking files process finished I experienced the couldn't find patcher error to which I just kept pressing ok, and play (which it says to do in tips and tricks.) Finally it ran, so the checking files process wasn't changing to downloading files like it should for some reason but it WAS downloading the files. So if anyone is experiencing this just let it check the files and when its done just continue trying to hit play. It may say that your log in has expire and you have to relog in but It finally did let me in. I was able to play but not on the high settings I used with Windows which I won't go back to. Now to try and get above 11 fps. SOLVED
