I'm trying the Crossover Game Demo to see how the program handles windows programs. The program installed just fine, and even runs. It gets to the character screen where you can see some graphics tearing on the weapon being held; however the rest of the screen looks fine. When I select a character, it loads into the 90% range then crashes. I can't get it to actually enter a "play" state. The only error it gives is, "Rift has encountered an error", and asks to send a report (which I have multiple times).

Any ideas? It's rated Silver, so at least SOME people have gotten it to play...

Ok, I found another thread where someone suggested changing "Legacy Renderer" to "True" in the rift.cfg file, and that made it work. The game loads, however graphics tearing on all characters/npc's is horrible. It's comical to see my mount's lower jaw drop down about an inch and dangle there, like the "Mummy" from the movie, "Mummy" did.

I'm having the same issue under Linux... It seems most people here are satisfied with just using low rendering mode, but for me this is a game changer since RIFT is the only real game I play right now and I was trying to adjust to using Linux as my primary OS...

I wish you luck on getting a resolution for this, hopefully it will fix both our problems. :)
