Okay, I read the issues for the Mac side of the fence and tried to mitigate them as much as possible.
1)Installed the game into an XP bottle.
2)Changed the Torment.ini to Full Screen=0
3)Made a VD of 1024x768 and disabled the WM to decorate and control the windows
4)Installed DX9
Still no dice. In fact the only two things that work is the stupid register me nag screen (which did go away after the 3 "go aways") and the 16bpp depth.
FWIW -- F14 x64

What graphics card do you have? Where does the game fail to work? (error dialog, garbled graphics, etc.)
I get the game to hang instantly after I click ok on the dialog box regarding 16/32 bit graphics
nVIDIA GPU with proprietary drivers. Fedora 14 x64. I followed the recomendations for Apples and it hasn't seemed to do much as far as changing this hangup.
My apologies in advance if you've already attempted this, but -- have you tried setting the bit depth of your display to thousands of colours before you launched CrossOver?
Nope. Default setup on fedora doesnt easily allow for this, and I am not in the mood for restarting x in an alternate config just for a video game.
