Wine is typically a few steps ahead of crossover. Whatever is in winetricks now for .net4 might make it into crossover 12, or something like that, I would guess.
If you haven't checked back in a while, there is indeed now a .tie file for .Net 4.0. It isn't perfect yet, but it's a start.
I tried to install this, but it keeps coming up with a File Not Found error within .Net 4 installer :(
Installing .Net 4.0 will be supported in our upcoming release, CrossOver 12, but is not supported in CrossOver 11.
