sbc dsl registration

I am attempting to register for SBC's (AT&T) dsl service. I have been able to get far enough along to use the dsl hookup, but cannot complete the e-mail registration form. I have a Linux (SuSE 9.1) desktop. My online searches indicate that MS IE is required for this registration. I have IE 6.0 that I run with Cross Over Office 5.0. I can get part way through the registration (it claims successfully download some sort of patch), but I get a blank screen at the next step (http://isp.members.yahoo.com/regisp/y/dsl_resume). Does anyone out there know if it is possible to complete this registration with any version of IE and any version of CX? My computer is not a dual-boot, and I am not sure I want to dispense with $200 for a copy of MS Windows. Thanks.
