I have to use a site that requires IE 5.5 (or higher) + Flash + Sun Java.

I've therefore set up my CX Pro bottle with the following:

win98 (no others really seem to work right)

-CrossOver DCOM
-CrossOver IE6
-CrossOver Flash
-MS Installer 2.0 (downloaded from MS) - I didn't see it in the supported software listing
-Sun Java 6 (downloaded from Sun) - not in the supported software box

Something's conflicting because IE freezes. Any thoughts on what I can do to debug this?

I'm also using Win98 bottle, and I suceeded in running
IE6 + Flash Player 10 + Java Runtime Environment(JRE) 5 update 16 on my Mac.

Note that only JRE5, not 6, can run on Windows 98.
Use IE6 to go to this address.
Then click on "Downloads" button on the banner.
This will lead you to the download page for Win98.

Allow me to correct my previous post :p

I'm now using CrossOver 8, and my way to get all these running is:
Win98 bottle + IE6 + Adobe Flash 9.0.246 + JRE 5 update 20
(Flash player 10 is offically said not to support Windows 98.)

1. For flash player 9, go to this address, and select the Windows 98/ME version to download. (do it on the mac beforehand)

2. For JRE 5, go to this address, and download the offline version to avoid trouble.

3. Finally, follow the usual routine to install unsupported software. They should work!
