The game mostly plays well when using DirectX rendering. The Build and Research menus in-game continue to have very sluggish cursor movements, although I now see not only the game's cursor (which moves sluggishly), but OS X's cursor, which moves at normal speed. When in these sub-menus, the game cursor struggles to keep up with the OS cursor, and mouse clicks are unresponsive until it does catch up.
I tried switching to OpenGL, but the game outright crashed.
Other than these issues, it all seems great.
