this happens all the time, as soon as i got the car in ep 2 its been locking up whenever an NPC enters my screen. Im running crossover on a macbook pro. Half life 2 and ep1 worked flawlessly, even though ep 1 is supposed to be the one with problems.
Anyways i really hope you guys can help, heres an example of what happens when it crashs

the problem is that episode two, as you probably noticed with the font issue, isn't fully up to date and supported, I have had this problem to. are you running it with these properties. -novid -windowed. but I've had more of a problem with the parts when the hunters show up. and you just have to be careful, because since this stuff was not meant to play on mac without help, the games require a lot from your computer. and when NPC's enter is usually when alot is already happening, so just let the game do its thing, get frustrated, reload it and keep trying. thats what has worked for me.
