Windowed mode graphic issues

Some times when I change from full screen to windowed mode, the game continues in full screen mode but just chops off the areas that are outside of the windowed mode area showing it in white (does not show OS X desktop in background).

I have ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB VRAM on iMac 27"
