Hi there, new to GW, but a Mac-only user. Tried the trial on a friends' Windows PC and loved it.

So I have Crossover Games and noticed there's a wizard for installing Guild Wars, ran it, used the GWSetup.zip from the official site to create the bottle. But after multiple attempts the installer will not move any further than the 'Connecting to ArenaNet' window. The bar at the bottom moves all or almost all of the way but that's it. It just stays like that.

I've turned off any possible firewall or connection blockers but can't find an answer.

Would greatly appreciate any help...?

My instinct would say to wait a day and try again tomorrow. Maybe the guild wars network is having troubles. There are most likely multiple servers accross the globe, and the one it tries to connect to may be down.

If that doesn't help, I recommend to see if the guild wars FAQ has any hints. There may be some other network setup issue, besides firewalls(I once had a incorrect subnet mask, and my router tried to find the guild wars server in my local LAN, which obviously won't work)
