if i purchase Guild Wars through steam, will it work?
i'm planning to purchase Guild Wars through steam, but there a 4 guild wars namely
Guild Wars Trilogy
Guild Wars Game of the Year
Guild Wars Nightfall
Guild Wars Factions
on the list what should i buy? to play guild wars,
Guild Wars through Steam won't be officially supported, but it should work. I'd personally recommend Guild Wars Trilogy, as it contains the original release, Nightfall, and Factions.
If you had to leave one out, most players find Factions to be the worst "Expansion" of the game.
Prophecies is great, Nightfall is also great & has Hero's, which you can kit out with weapons, skills & other wonderful intricacies. You can also take Hero's into the other sections of the game, such as Prophecies.
I probably like Prophecies best, but have to have Hero's, so if there was only one to recommend I guess it would be Nightfall.
