The GOG version is a 818mb downloadable installer - also contains
the Descent 3 'Mercenary' expansion pack. This title installs and
runs correctly as an unsupported game, into it's own bottle using
the winXP profile -- no apparent issues.
Game requires a native 640x480 display resolution to run intro/
cutscene movies and the menu interface. The actual game resolution
can be changed via the ingame options menu, but do note that the
resolutions provided are all 4:3 aspect. If you don't have display
hardware capable of these things, you will need to run crossover
in windowed mode (emulate a virtual desktop). The game steals the
mouse during movie/cutscene sequences.

Note: Issues with game controls (especially with relation to my
latest linux HID assaults , seems this title still holds the record,
IMHO, of one of the most impossible games to adequately configure and
control yet devised for human operations.. ;)
