What is the reason you get kicked for?
Can you try to start your own server, as well as connect to a non-VAC server? That will tell wether the problem is related to VAC or something else.
usually When i play CSS on my friend's Windows.. there are a few problems that could cause this problem...Firstly High Ping..Or high latency
Next Would be Your firewall
And if you are using antivirus on linux or mac..Disable it..especially norton for mac.. (yes there is Norton for mac realtime protection)
And er..try finding out whether vac servers affect you ..like what Stefan Dösinger said..

No error messages? Maybe it's because you don't have some anticheat instaled... Are you trying at public servers?
