6.1.0

The Civilization 4 installation completed successfully with 6.1.0 (there was a minor error in DirectX.log noted in the previous topic, but it nonetheless seemed to have installed correctly).

However, when I run the "civilization4" command in cxoffice/bin nothing seems to happen. The command exists after one of two seconds, and nothing seems to happen. No icon, no wine server running, nothing.

Is there a crossover log somewhere that might have information as to where the launch command might be failing?

I'm running Kubuntu 7.04, kernel 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP, on a T60 (Centrino Duo, 2 gigs of RAM).

Given that I couldn't even install the game prior to 6.1.0, this is progress.

If you set the environment variable CX_LOG to a file path, a log will be created there. For example:
CX_LOG=/tmp/civ4.log civilization4
