Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn Forum

Just a quick note to mention that BG2 Complete from GOG works beautifully on both a MacBook Pro (CXG 9.2/10.6.5) and a MacBook (GMA 950, CXG 9.1, 10.5.8). I haven't tested EasyTuTu yet, but I hope to do that soon.

Go and buy this game - you'll be glad you did.

For me it only installs and refuse to launch the game, I hear the sound for a sec, and then it hangs up.

My bad. I missed to check the BLT settings. Now it works like a charm :)

I don't have the version from GOG.com, I have the 4-cd set. I didn't have to install anything else in the bottle, but I did have to edit the bottle so that D: is available as a CD-ROM and pointed it at the installer files. (I copied all the CDs to a folder in my home directory)

I recently bought the complete set from GoG but when I go to run the application after installation I am stuck with a blank white screen.

Any advice?

What type of machine are you playing on? I know for machines with nVidia chipsets, you must open the configuration utility and enable the software rendering options. I don't have it immediately in front of me but I know you have to disable 3d acceleration, set 16-bit color, and check the software blt/mirroring (something like that) boxes.
