Installing Anno 1404 through steam causes "you do not have sufficient privileges" error

Hi all,

I've read elsewhere that this error doesn't necessarily mean i dont have sufficient rights, only that the software has fallen over somewhere to an unknown error which it missinterprets as a rights issue.

Has anyone had any success running Anno 1404 through steam?

This is because of the TAGES copy protection failing to run in Crossover Games. The standalone disc version of this game received an update that removed the copy protection, but the Steam version of this game still includes it and tries to install it on first run.
