Plays fine, but a few errors to note.

After finding and installing the missing .dll, the game installs, runs, and plays just fine. However, there are still a few minor issues that keep it from Gold status for me. First, the opening video does not play, it simply displays a black screen, though the sound plays. Second, the opening title screen, immediately after the intro video, is oddly doubled. Finally, whenever I quit the game, I get an error message saying that the game has encountered an error and been forced to quit; obviously not a huge deal since I was quitting anyway, but still something to note.

All that being said, I have encountered no other major obstacles and both the original game and its expansion, "The Titans," can be played. They both look great and play very well. I've also not seen any graphical problems with the water or shoreline as others have noted.

Whenever I choose to not emulate a desktop, or play in full screen-mode (from the game's options), the opening scenes do play.

They play on a near completely black screen, except for a small rectangle near the top-right corner of my screen.

That being said, if I haven't selected these settings, then I do not get the intro screen.

However this isn't a big problem for me to rate the game as 'gold' for two reasons.

First of all, it doesn't cut away from the game play. Something like video has no impact on it, unless if it affects campaign video, which I have yet to check for.

Second of all, who cares! I normally skip them either ways, so it's actually easier for me.

As for the error when exiting, I too experience it, and you are correct, it makes no difference. I'm guessing it's something to do with windows, because I have a faint recollection of it happening on my PC long go, too.

I do not, however, experience this 'doubling' that you mentioned.

What are your Mac's specifications?

Hmm, I've been testing some settings, and these ones allow the video at the beginning to play:

Under Wine Configuration -> Graphics:

Allow the window manager to decorate windows (checked);
Allow the window manager to control the windows (checked);
Emulate a virtual desktop (Checked) (1280x800)

Under AOM's options:

Screen Size: 1280x1024x32

Side Options -> Play in Window (Unchecked).

How do you guys get the campaign to work????
